We are glad to host the Wan Chai Cultural Community Tour for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The experience invited participants to explore Sikh culture and faith through open dialogue and shared reflection, inspiring deeper understanding and appreciation of Hong Kong’s multicultural community.

“The parts that impressed me the most are the ambassador's experience sharing and the tour to the prayer hall. It was my first time entering the Sikh temple, and it was a very exciting and eye-opening experience. We should embrace our differences more.”
Through meaningful conversations with Cultural Ambassadors, participants learned not only about the religion’s beliefs and practices, but also about its strong values of equality, service, and acceptance. The open exchange of experiences helped bridge perspectives, allowing everyone to reflect on how understanding other faiths can strengthen harmony in daily life.

“We are different yet equal. Good to know the differences and be open to accept them to bring us together.”

For many, the visit sparked new insights about community and compassion. Sharing Langar, the traditional Sikh communal meal, became a powerful expression of unity — a reminder that inclusion thrives on humility and generosity.

"The reflection this activity has brought me is communication and learning from each religion will improve understanding, and enhance peace."
Through this interfaith experience, participants left with open hearts and renewed curiosity — recognizing that cultural diversity, when embraced, can connect and enrich us all. Regardless of our faith or cultural backgrounds, we unite in prayer and action for a more peaceful and harmonious world. This initiative reflects our mission to nurture empathy, respect, and intercultural competence — helping individuals build a more harmonious and inclusive Hong Kong.
