Mr. Bosco Ng

Bosco is the Founder and Director of WEDO GLOBAL Foundation. He had acquired extensive experience in cross-cultural communication and management. He represented Hong Kong to participate in the Youth Peace Network program in Canada. Together with 18 leaders from 17 countries, they developed multicultural education programs for children and youth in Canada to raise their global cultural awareness.

 

Since 2017, Bosco has been appointed as the member of the Advisory Committee on Racial Equality and Integration of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), a statutory body set up in 1996, to work towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex, marital status, pregnancy, disability, family status and race. He is also one of the Honorary Advisors of the Hong Kong Union for Young Leaders providing guidance and support to the young leaders. 

 

Due to his commitment and dedication to serving the Hong Kong society, Bosco was awarded the Hong Kong Youth Service Award 2017. In 2018, he established WEDO GLOBAL foundation to further collaborate with stakeholders in the community to co-create a racial harmonious society in Hong Kong. 

 

In 2019, Bosco is appointed as a Member of the Course and Service Development Committee of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB).

Dr. Alice Yuk, BBS, JP

Dr. Alice Yuk is an experienced social work expert, administrator and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience (including working as Executive Director of Hong Kong S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre, Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service and General Secretary of YWCA of Hong Kong for 21 years).

 

She is appointed CEO of Ebenezer School for the Visually Impaired and Elderly Home. Dr. Yuk is committed to promoting capacity building, development and empowerment of social services, engagement of cross-sector partners, and actively seeking to improve the well-being of deprived children, youth, women and families through new policy and enhancing competitiveness in Hong Kong.

Since early 1980’s, she has been working with various sectors to try out social enterprise and social innovation projects aiming to address a social cause with financial and social value sustainability. She also promotes SEs and trains young SE operators and entrepreneurs in the Mainland and other developing countries. She is one of the founders of the HK General Chamber of Social Enterprises Ltd in 2009.

Dr. Alison Elizabeth Lloyd

Dr. Alison Elizabeth LLOYD is a Director of International Affairs and a Director of Institutional Research and Planning at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (‘‘PolyU’’). In her capacity as a Director of International Affairs, Dr. LLOYD oversees all activities including the strategic development and coordination of international partnerships, international recruitment, mobility opportunities and institutional relations. 

 

Prior to joining PolyU, Dr. LLOYD worked as a Management Consultant with Deloitte Hong Kong and later moved on to become Principal Consultant in a business consultancy firm in Hong Kong. Her consulting engagements span strategic planning, business process review and improvement, design and implementation of corporate performance management frameworks and change management for both private and public sector organizations in Hong Kong and Asia. Dr. LLOYD holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing and a first-class honours BA (Hons) in Hotel and Catering Management, both from PolyU. 

 

She possesses 18 years of experience spanning higher education and management consulting. Dr. LLOYD serves on a number of advisory boards and steering committees including Higher Education Planners in Asia, QS Ranking Conferences, i-Graduate, and serves as a Director of the Fair Trade Hong Kong. She was appointed as an independent non-executive Director, as well as a member of each of the audit committee (‘‘Audit Committee’’) and the nomination committee (‘‘Nomination Committee’’) of the Giordano International Limited with effect from March 7, 2019.
