Multicultural Storytelling and Art Workshops: Exploring Diverse Cultures Together
Every story, colour and pattern can open a door to a new culture. WEDO GLOBAL was pleased to collaborate with Lockhart Road Public Library and Wong Nai Chung Public Library to organise multicultural storytelling and art workshops for families. Through engaging stories and hands-on activities, parents and children explored cultural traditions together and deepened their understanding of Hong Kong’s diverse communities.

Storytelling and Rangoli Coloring Workshop
Our Cultural Ambassadors led an interactive storytelling session and introduced families to Rangoli, a colourful South Asian art form often associated with blessings and celebrations.
Parents and children then designed and coloured their own Rangoli artwork, exploring South Asian cultural traditions while expressing their creativity through colours and patterns. The activity offered families an opportunity to learn, create and discover together.

Storytelling and Arabic Calligraphy Bookmark Workshop
Families enjoyed an interactive storytelling session featuring MeowMeow is Missing! (《MeowMeow不見了!》), a multicultural picture book published by WEDO GLOBAL. The story celebrates kindness, mutual support and cultural diversity within the community.
Participants also learned simple Arabic greetings and designed personalised Arabic calligraphy bookmarks. Through writing, colouring and creative decoration, parents and children explored elements of Arabic culture and created unique keepsakes to take home.

At WEDO GLOBAL, we believe that introducing children to different cultures from a young age can spark their curiosity and broaden their horizons. By combining storytelling with creative activities, these workshops encouraged families to learn about and appreciate cultural diversity while making lasting memories together.
Each opportunity to discover, create and connect is a step towards a more inclusive Hong Kong.
