Building Inclusive Workplace Together: Workplace Inclusion Training 101

We are honoured to return for the third consecutive year to deliver Inclusive Workplace training for supervisors and staff of the MTR Summer Internship Programme. This ongoing collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a workplace where every intern feels seen, supported, and valued.

In this session, we focused on practical and relatable ways to work effectively with ethnically diverse interns. Through real-life scenarios and video clips, participants explored cultural awareness, unconscious bias, and inclusive communication, while picking up simple tips to navigate everyday interactions with greater confidence and empathy.

We sincerely appreciate the staff who joined us and took the time to reflect on how they can better support diverse interns. Their participation and willingness to learn are important steps in creating a more understanding and welcoming workplace. We are grateful for the continued partnership with MTR, we hope the ideas and tools shared in the session can inspire ongoing conversations, small everyday actions, and long-term changes contributing to a more inclusive workplace.
