From Awareness to Action: Cultural Sensitivity Training for Airport Teams

In 2025, global travel rebounded strongly, with Hong Kong International Airport handling 61 million passenger journeys – a clear sign that Hong Kong’s connection with the world continues to thrive.
WEDO GLOBAL is honored to partner with Airport Authority Hong Kong to organize the Cultural Sensitivity Training for two consecutive years, equipping frontline teams with deeper cultural awareness and practical communication skills. Our goal is to empower participants to engage with empathy and understanding in one of the world’s most dynamic, multicultural travel hubs.

Through interactive learning and reflective discussions, participants explored how personal assumptions and cultural perceptions shape everyday decisions. Guided by WEDO GLOBAL Cultural Ambassadors, they reviewed real-life service cases, practiced empathy-based communication, and co-created culturally considerate response strategies to enhance the passenger experience.
